Sarah Maude-Griffin
Sarah Maude-Griffin is a 22 year old fine artist attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In 2017, Sarah began experiencing severe joint pain and all over body aches, and in 2018 was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. With the limitations Sarah faced, she deeply re-considered what was most important to her, and decided to pursue painting full time. Sarah's work explores her life as a chronically ill young person. She is deeply inspired by the work of Frida Kahlo, who also dealt with chronic pain throughout her life.
