Sheri lives with Dystonia, a rare neurological movement disorder that affects her jaw, neck, and shoulder. While painting, she finds that it calms both her soul and body, providing relief from the chronic muscle spasms and involuntary movements that come with the disorder. Dystonia is a chronic, often painful neurological condition characterized by extreme muscle spasms that cause involuntary movements and postures in the body and limbs. 100% of the sales from Sheri's paintings go directly to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, supporting research for this devastating and rare disease.
