About the Artist
Laura Kointinakis
Laura's love for photography began with she was given a camera from a friend. She spends a lot of healing time at the Minnesota Arboretum, a place where she also finds her favorite subject: nature. She loves nature because she finds it to be very forgiving and safe. Laura has survived two major automobile accidents from which she experienced traumatic brain injuries. She says, "I love how photography is is always changing. It's exciting!"
