About the Artist

David Wright

David Wright is an artist who has loved drawing since early childhood, beginning at the age of three when he created his first three‑dimensional drawing of a dog. Drawing has remained a central part of life ever since. David creates images using black pen, then transfers them to a computer where he expands the compositions by adding color and additional elements. Buildings, landscapes, and vehicles are favorite subjects, often blended together to reflect experiences from daily life and the many books he enjoys collecting. David’s work presents what he encounters through direct participation and observation, including memories from downhill skiing for several years and visiting places like Trollhagen in Wisconsin. Because expressive language is limited by congenital Trisomy 8, art serves as a primary means of communication. Through drawing and digital exploration, David shares interests, experiences, and a unique way of understanding the world.
