Debbie Huff

Debbie Huff Landenberg, PA I am an artist who has been painting with alcohol ink for 6 years and really enjoy how bright and vibrant this medium is. Started to paint after an ankle injury which stopped me from my normal hobbies of cycling and hiking. Have a personal interest in painting wildlife/animals and flowers from my local area. Sometimes I find myself painting abstracts because I just like the bright colors. More recently I have started to draw with colored pencils and pastels. Was born with visual impairments where I am legally blind in one eye and have limited vision in my “good” eye. My depth, peripheral and distance vision is different than full sighted people. Art really fills a creative need in me, but I have learned to paint for a couple hours in a day to reduce eye strain. Computers are a great tool for me to help paint details since I can enlarge a photograph. I was born and raised in Iowa and spent most of my adult life in Minnesota. Currently live in Che
