Jeaunice Burnette
Jeaunice Tribue Burnette was born in Fairfax, Virginia. She has always had a close bond with the arts. The mediums that have dominated her work are watercolor, acrylic, and photography. There is a whimsical quality to her paintings and photographs that display a love of life and childlike innocence. Her passion for art has sustained her during her struggles with bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder. In 2005, She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the end of her freshman year at Georgia Southwestern State University. Art has on numerous occasions literally saved her life. While battling bipolar depression, Ms. Burnette utilizes photography and painting as a coping skill. Art allows her to find hope in life. Through her training, Ms. Burnette understands the importance of a strong art practice. It is her objective to become a middle school art teacher. Ms. Burnette continues to show her work and grow as an artist. She resides in Albany, Georgia.
