About the Artist
I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression around the age of 6, Asperger's and Essential Tremors at 10, and Crohn's at the age of 13. I began counseling for my struggles at about the age of 6. My early school years were difficult, but college was probably when it became the hardest. After being hospitalized for a panic attack, as well as struggling to leave my room or go a single night without having a panic episode, I was able to start the journey towards better managing my struggles. My essential tremors made it difficult to draw precise lines, and although I have much more practice with it, it still can be difficult sometimes. My experiences helped shape my artwork, and I like to capture emotions and feelings in my work. Art was a good way to cope with my feelings, but now it has become something more.
