Troy Dahnke Forest Lake, MN I had a stroke in the early 2000’s and that has left me with difficulty speaking (Aphasia) and affected the right side of his body. I met a fellow stroke survivor who introduced me to the art of pottery. I have been working at the craft of the pottery since the mid 2000’s. I first used pottery to improve my right hand dexterity and have seen this additional positive benefit of my work in pottery. I have enjoyed the satisfaction of producing something beautiful and useful from a simple lump of clay.
