Joe Rossi
Joe Rossi is a photographer whose deep connection to landscape and light has been shaped by decades behind the camera. After studying journalism with an emphasis in photography, Joe spent more than three decades working as a news photographer in Minnesota, documenting people, places, and events with care and precision. Following retirement, Joe returned to family land in the northwoods, where photography became more personal and contemplative, focused on wildlife, night skies, and quiet moments of light. After experiencing a stroke that left partial paralysis, photography offered both solace and purpose, helping regain rhythm and focus through observation. Art became especially meaningful after the loss of Joe’s wife, Judy, as time behind the lens provided healing and continuity. Joe’s photographs invite viewers to slow down and look closely, shaped by experience, patience, and a lifelong dedication to seeing.
