About the Artist
Lexie Peterson
Lexie Peterson is a photographer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Peterson lives with PTSD as a result of traumas she experienced in an abusive relationship. Much of her work confronts her trauma and healing process. Through her photography, she aims to depict her experiences in a tangible way and to connect with fellow survivors. Her work has been exhibited at The Kennedy Center, The Milwaukee Art Museum, Black Box Gallery, SCAD’s Alexander Hall Gallery, and other institutions. Lexie currently attends Savanah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she is pursuing a BFA in Fine Art Photography.
