About the Artist

Susan Hass

The natural world inspires me, as does art others create. The feelings of expression, creativity, and healing encourage me to create. Chronic fatigue syndrome reduces the energy my body produces. My art is in two public collections, with City of Seattle and Ellensburg, WA (bus shelter). I participated in arts fairs and exhibits (several group and one solo). My education includes a B.A. from Saint Olaf College (Northfield, MN), with a semester at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I was born in Durham, North Carolina, and grew up in Seattle; Moscow, Idaho; and Libertyville, Illinois.
