About the Artist
Samuel Dietze
I am a legally blind artist who enjoys painting outdoors. I travel on foot or by bicycle and paint interesting, colorful scenes. I get inspiration from the way a scene changes with the lighting, weather, time of day, and time of year. I mostly work on small paintings so I can carry all my supplies in a backpack. I work in acrylics so that the paint is dry by the time I'm finished, and then refine the paintings when I get home.
