About the Artist
Emily Forbes
I am an abstract artist working and exploring with a variety of mediums: acrylic, alcohol ink, and mixed media. Art is a source of healing for me after an accident resulting in disability (traumatic brain injury). It helps me uncover emotions and be more mindful, which gives me a better understanding of myself. I am influenced by sound, color, movement, hope, and all things mystical. It is my goal that these themes come through in my finished works, blended up with wonder.
