Cathy Pregmon
Cathy Pregmon is a jewelry artist whose long creative life reflects adaptation, imagination, and deep commitment to making. For more than thirty years, Cathy has worked as a designer, shaping jewelry through careful attention to color, texture, and material rather than fire or heat‑based processes. Living with visual impairment, including blindness in one eye and additional health challenges affecting stamina and mobility, Cathy developed a practice grounded in what feels safe, tactile, and expressive. Jewelry design became a space where creativity could flourish without risk, allowing focus on beading, stringing, and layering materials with intention. Art has remained central through many life transitions, offering meaning and continuity. Cathy values spaces where work is appreciated and worn, believing that art gains life through connection. Through jewelry, Cathy continues to share beauty, resilience, and generosity with others.
