When I first learned to finger paint, I was in 7th heaven and wanted to do it every day. I knew for sure in the 7th grade that I wanted to be an artist. It was a great escape for me, and I was good at it. I graduated from college in art with honors. Then moved to Taos New Mexico. I was in 20 shops in Taos. Then I moved back to Kansas. In Topeka is where I really excelled. Even though I was in national and international shows in Taos; I gave up drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and overeating. So, it was personal and artistic growth in Topeka. I found God along time ago which has everything to do with my turn around.
