If you love to see something shine, this is it. The texture brings out the multi-colored pastels that would compliment any room. When the light shines on it, it’s like sparkling stars. This painting is finished with a high gloss varnish with UV protection.
About the Artist
Billie Steiner
Billie Steiner is a self-taught, abstract painter. She believes abstract painting is a way of releasing your inner feelings and emotions on canvas using different techniques. She is a person who suffers from major depression, anxiety, ADD, and BPD which is Borderline Personality Disorder. With these diagnoses, her feelings can be disoriented. Her way of releasing those complicated feelings is by abstract painting. She may picture something she wants to paint, but because of her racing mind, it’s hard to do, but when she’s done with it, which could be hours or days, it ends up being a unique piece of art that can be interpreted in many different ways, and it doesn’t need to be corrected. It’s right all the time. She feels as though it is like freedom of speech. It opens our mind to diversity. Her goal is to let those struggling with mental illnesses know that abstract painting can release those feelings of frustration. Combined emotions can create a masterpiece.
