Art transports me into a state of mindfulness that creates oneness between the porcelain and me. As I passionately work with the clay, it is with the hope of it being a visual beauty and mirror image of who I really am as a person. The intimacy with the porcelain enables my emotions and spirituality to emerge spontaneously what words cannot express. The sculpture continuum, from creating with it, carving and glazing, gives me much contentment as I deal with the challenges of each day.
