About the Artist
Lynne Surina
Lynne Surina is an artist who finds working with her hands relaxing, but first and foremost, she?s an Elvis fan. For this portrait, Elvis and His Cadillac, she drew inspiration from pictures she found online and her memories of seeing The King of Rock ?n? Roll live at the Duluth Arena with her mom. This is her first time painting a portrait and her first time selling her artwork, and she is thrilled to be participating in the Art of Possibilities Art Show and Sale. Originally from Cloquet, Minnesota, Lynne now lives in Minneapolis where she works out of the art studio at PRI- a day services center for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
