About the Artist

Janay Green

Janay lives with cerebral palsy and has a particular passion for mythology and mythical creatures and has enjoyed art since she was very young. She was inspired to create Festival at the Fig Tree after seeing a Narrow Leaf Fig bonsai tree at the Como Zoo. Most of the outfits these Chinese faeries are wearing are based off of clothing from the Tang Dynasty.
