About the Artist
Sarah Nehrbass
Sarah has Down syndrome and hearing loss. She was recently diagnosed with neurological degeneration and worsening severe Dysphagia and aspirations which cause pneumonia, motor difficulties and cognitive decline. Sarah has always loved art and used to sign more and speak more, but today she is nonverbal and uses only a few signs. Sarah continues to do many things she loves like art and she is now doing more things virtually with the support of her family.
