I like to think of myself as a visual poet who tries to capture the fleeting moments of wonder and elegance that would otherwise be lost to time. Today, life is so hurried and are surrounded by so many distractions, we miss the beauty and every day miracles that surround us. I started doing photography as a hobby. I always had interest in photography, but lacked the focus and confidence to consider pursuing it seriously. Because, "I wasn't an artist". Due to a sudden and unforeseen medical situation, I had the time, and my desire was fueled by keeping myself occupied while I was unable to work. I was taken back by my photos when I started. They weren't horrible! I began to shyly share my work and the responses and sincere feedback had me come to believe that I had a gift and a purpose in photography. I love the moments when someone sees one of my photos and they see what I was trying to show. That connection on that level is amazing, and I know I'm on the right path.
