About the Artist
Susanne Dagmar Olsen
Danish artist, Susanne Dagmar Olsen was born on a farm in the small town of Overvindinge, Denmark in 1955. She has worked as a painter and linocut printmaker for much of her life. Susanne has learned relief printing though private study with many professional artists. Her art is expressive, naturalistic, and often contains lyrical content and her subject matter ranges from animals to flowers to figure portraiture. She says, "Art is flexible and can be done whenever I have a couple of good hours. I work in a broad range of media and genres, because I think you get the best results, when you do what you like most. It means a lot to me to participate in the Art of Possibilities together with persons who are like me. I am grateful to have the opportunity to show my work."
