Hello, my name is Rebecca, but I go by “Becca” Ann Holmes. About 10 years ago, I had the opportunity to join an art group in Minnesota designed to support people with mental health issues. At that time, I was seeking something to bring joy into my life, as I was grappling with Bipolar 1, predominantly experiencing chronic depression. Photography quickly became that source of joy for me. From the first few shots, I knew I had found something special—something that sparked a deep-seated passion within me, which I embraced wholeheartedly. To me, photography is more than just taking pictures; it's a way of capturing and holding onto precious memories, a method of using my eyes to see and document what truly touches my heart.
