About the Artist

Judy Lewis

I have been an art ist since childhood. I live in and love the Southwest. It's majestic scenery, amazing wildlife and wonderful people are my inspiration. 50 years ago a car crash resulted in partial paralysis of my right leg. In 2017 two brain surgeries resulted in paralysis of my left leg, and what my doctor said "cognitively impaired". Hah-whatever that means! I need to wear braces and walk with aids. These disabilities allowed me to focus more on creating, and I think improved my art. My work fulfills me, and with my partner and my dog, I am happy to do what I love.
