Zoe Blackman, 24-year-old artist from New Jersey, embarks on a passionate journey shaped by deep emotions and a lifelong struggle with mental illness. Despite immense challenges due to her conditions, Zoe perseveres in her creative endeavors. She has studied at Pratt Institute for sculpture and to broaden her artistic scope, ventured into furniture design at RISD. However, faced with financial challenges and the overwhelming burden of her mental health struggles, she redirected her focus to her enduring love for oil painting—a medium that has been a source of solace since her childhood. Zoe's talent shines on virtual platforms like HMVC Gallery, giving exposure in NYC. In addition, exhibited at the Allegany Arts Council in Maryland, earning the second-place juried award for her poignant portrayal of grief. Zoe aspires to become a leading figure in contemporary art, offering profound glimpses into the human soul through her canvases.
