About the Artist
Linda Frankenstein
I received my BA in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota. I have a great interest in all things botanical. I have Retinitis Pigmentosa which is a degenerative eye disease. It affects my peripheral vision, central vision and the ability to discriminate colors. Over time my use of color has become bolder. My disease demands that I adapt my techniques and limit the time that I work. So far, I have been successful at developing strategies to accommodate my changing eyesight.
