“Life is Like a Box of Chocolates”
"Life is Like a Box of Chocolates". The scene to me was so remindful of the Forrest Gump movie. I could just imagine Tom Hanks sitting there on the bench relating his story.
About the Artist
Richard (Dick) Crumb grew up on a family “Century Farm” in southern Minnesota. Dick was severely injured in a car accident nearly fifty years ago and has been propelling himself via a wheelchair ever since. I became interested in photography many years ago in college, and now in my retirement years I have been able to invest more time in this decades long passion. I love to travel and as part of my travel experiences, I enjoy capturing some of the delightful scenes of God’s wondrous creation (the work of His hands) through my camera lens. My rural upbringing often expresses itself in the pastoral scenes and landscapes I capture with my trusty camera. My disability allows me to perhaps see things slightly differently through my camera lens, with an eye towards the freedom nature suggests, rather than the physical limitations that we all experience every day.
