Amuri Morris
My name is Amuri Morris and I’m an artist based in Richmond, Va. I recently graduated from painting/ printmaking and business at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to this, I studied art at the Center for the Arts at Henrico High School. Throughout the years I have acquired several artistic accolades. I aim to promote diversity in art canon, specifically focusing on the black experience. Art has been a form of escapism for me from my life adversities and has helped me manage my anxiety/ depression.
