Minseon Park
Minseon Park, known as Mijo, is a young artist whose work offers a quiet, thoughtful way of sharing inner life through color and form. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at an early age, Mijo communicates feelings and preferences primarily through art rather than words. Painting is a preferred activity, providing calm focus and a space for expression. Using watercolor and acrylic paints, Mijo is drawn to bright colors, flowers, and organic shapes inspired by nature. While exposure to a variety of materials such as fabric, thread, and paper has broadened creative experience, painting remains the most natural and engaging medium. Working at a gentle pace and often in stillness, Mijo creates images that feel open and sincere. Through these paintings, Mijo shares joy, creativity, and a soft, observant view of the world, offering a visual language that speaks where words cannot.
