ART transport me into a state of mindfulness that creates oneness between the clay and me. As I passionately work with the clay, it is with the hope of it being a visual beauty and mirror image of who I really am as a person. The intimacy with the clay enables my emotions and spirituality to emerge spontaneously what words cannot express. The pottery continuum, from creating it, shaping it, and glazing, gives me much contentment as I deal with the challenges of each day. This year, my work is birds, which I am inspired by the birds I see flying outside my home. Plus, I am sharing an unique sculpture in a vase. I am inspired by mid-century designs.
