About the Artist

Eric Sherarts

I love drawing from my imagination and what I see, and using strong expressive colors. Creating art is part of my being and daily life. It’s how I make deep feelings, experiences, and ideas come to life. I am happy for people to see my artwork. My art has been exhibited in local galleries and nationally. I make hand drawn images and then use my iMac and digital studio to arrange drawings into scenes and add color. I have Down syndrome. I am a banquet waiter, Special Olympics athlete, and an artist. I love to see gardens and I love to live in Minneapolis.
