Raghda Skeik
Raghda Skeik is an award‑winning realism painter and calligrapher whose artistic practice is grounded in skill, reflection, and service. Largely self‑taught, Raghda began her focused art journey in 2013 while recovering from a back injury that left her bedridden for several months. During that period, commitment to art deepened and remained central even after returning to work as a nurse. Since then, painting has become a sustained practice alongside teaching realism and participating in international medical missions. Raghda believes art can bring people together and serve as a bridge across differences, a belief reflected in series that explore shared ground among religions and identities. Currently, Raghda’s work is centered on honoring the stories of individuals affected by war, using realism and care to bear witness and foster understanding.
