About the Artist
Saber DeMare
A self-taught artist, coloring outside the lines since childhood, Saber creates meditative art pieces inspired by his natural surroundings in the Northwoods of Minnesota. His artwork is a collection of mixed media, carving, and craftsmanship. People often feel that a piece was made just for them and will report years later that they continue to see new things in it and gain new insights from it. Making artwork helps manage Saber's severe depression and PTSD. This is, in essence, what inspires him to create.
