Intuitive/empathic art is all about flow and creating from feeling rather than thought. It's a movement; it's freeing, giving, and unbridled. As an Empath, I easily pick up on others' feelings and energy. Abstract art is a perfect companion for empaths, but one needn't be one to create art. I believe that anyone can create, and I love to inspire them to do so. Creating artwork is spiritual to me. Often using Frankincense and Myrrh or White Sage, I get into a meditative state before creating. I call on my guides and let the energy flow through me. Most every piece holds unintentional faces of people and/or animals; they just appear. I have no idea what I am going to create beforehand. Sometimes, I write an original poem, a phrase, or a statement on the canvas before beginning. It has amazed me in the past, as I've had no conscious idea of what is being created. Afterwards, I examine the artwork to see what has transpired, manifested. Recycled materials are incorporated.
