About the Artist
Marjory Wood
I have an “invisible disability” caused by a Traumatic Brain Injury I suffered in 2001. The TBI caused me to leave my Director and teaching position and retire from Concordia University in Saint Paul, MN. Since that time my Artistic work has become my life work, along with raising four grandkids that we took on between 2003 and 2011. As a writer and painter I endeavor to create expressions of the beauty existing in our common humanity and the natural world. My Scandinavian Folk Art Painting expresses the profound appreciation, love, and respect I carry for my Scandinavian heritage.
