About the Artist
Janet Kolstein
Before her road traffic accident in Ireland, Janet Kolstein was a textile designer and fine artist in New York City. Afterwards, she turned to the medium of collage and won awards for her work. Kolstein is also a poet and part of the Rutherford (NJ) Red Wheelbarrow Poets. Her poetry appears in their yearly anthologies and she has provided artwork for several covers and inside illustrations. Kolstein's digitally created photocollage graces the cover of late poet Laura Boss' book "The Best Lover." Looking at art on the web, in galleries and museums, whether ancient or new, remains a source of inspiration, and I hope, amid the daily struggles, I will always find time to keep the arts in my life.
