Pieta

This illustration was inspired my Michelangelo’s Pieta, showing the Madonna, holding the lifeless body of the Christ. I did not draw this for religious reasons. I drew it, however, to capture the intricacy of the original artwork on paper. Michelangelo is a true inspiration, as I try to honor him.
