Geordy Levin

Geordy Levin?s favorite color is rainbow. His recent body of work features a series of mandalas inspired by his love of the color wheel. In Rainbow Mandala, Geordy uses concentric circles of tempera paint as a base, layering mandala motifs drawn with Posca paint markers in a vibrant rainbow palette. The result is a psychedelic ?rainbow-petaled daisy? that radiates warm, cheerful energy like rays of the sun. Geordy is a multi-talented artist working across film, theater, music, and visual arts. In 2023, he was awarded Third Place in the Made in the Shade Art Contest. Based in Minneapolis, he splits his time between his home studio and the art studio at PRI?a day program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
