I'm navigating the vast landscape of self-expression and discovery, finding solace and satisfaction in intertwining the fragments of my life and art. This journey has been illuminated recently by the resurgence of lost memories, casting both shadows and light across my emotional canvas, prompting a reevaluation of past narratives and a reshaping of my artistic voice. My art, a diverse exploration of crafts and media, reflects my evolving understanding of my role within the broader cultural tapestry. Like a tree marked by growth rings, my work is a testament to the historical, intellectual, and relational influences that have shaped me. The act of creation has been a cornerstone of my recovery and personal growth since 2012, after surviving West Nile Virus, encephalitis, and a coma. It has been a vehicle for acknowledging my limitations and, more importantly, for celebrating my capacity to flourish.
