After a longtime interest in photography, my passion for nature photography emerged in 2004. I endured a massive stroke in 2007 causing partial vision loss, a cognitive deficit and complete left paralysis. Today I walk with a cane, with restored vision and a clear mind. With partial paralysis and a balance deficit, steadying my camera and navigating rough terrain are significant challenges. My 5-way stabilizing camera and adapting my adventures to accessible areas enables me to continue my passion. Capturing the jewels of nature, combined with the creativity it offers, continues to be a gift.
