About the Artist
Lilli Sprintz
I was born with a deep and profound attraction to nature: clouds, flowers, trees, bees, and butterflies. With early childhood brain damage, spinal damage, and the onset of inflammation diseases, I found myself attracted, by my 40s, to nature as a source of healing and great joy and strength. I do my art as a way to experience that joy, fill my mind and body with it, connect with the natural world, and try to influence people to take the time to distance ourselves from some of our emotional and physical pain, and draw upon this beauty as a support for our own healing journeys. Watercolor is a much more gentle media to use with inflammation diseases in hands and arms. It flows on the paper, calms me, and allows me to share my hope and dreams with people about nature and the beauty of life.
