Mari Newman
I?m Mari Newman. I paint what I see?but through the lens of fantasy, the way I would?ve seen it as a kid! My work lives somewhere between surrealism and abstraction. I love surrealism, but I also enjoy experimenting with abstract forms, often blending the two. I?ve never been fond of the real world, so my art doesn?t try to replicate it. Instead, I reinterpret reality in a way that feels softer, stranger, and a little more magical.
