About the Artist
Numerous brain operations to remove cancer have left Bruce Feinsod unable to use her dominant hand. She has taught herself to use her left hand to paint. She says, "It took a while, but I learned how to paint using my left hand and have been painting ever since. I pride myself on painting a striking, surprising, and pleasing original image. Art is at my core. Most images are graphic in nature, lovely to look at, and full of color. I am driven to paint, to produce the very best, following the principles and breaking some rules of art. My art is full of color. So full, one can comfortably call me a colorist, similar to the French movement, the Fauvists of the early Twentieth Century, and the Colorists of the later Twentieth Century."
Art on display at Courage Kenny and online gallery.
