Call for art
ART SHOW & SALE
Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute invites all artists with disabilities worldwide to submit artwork to participate in the 2026 Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale. The Art Show has a rich tradition of exhibiting and selling the creative artwork of inspiring artists with physical and cognitive disabilities. More than 500 pieces are reviewed each year in six categories: Graphics, oils and acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, photography and sculpture and more than $4,600 in awards will be presented. All work must be original. Artists are limited to submitting a maximum of four works and all art must be for sale.
The art show is held once a year, May-July. The applications for the 2026 Art of Possibilities will be available in September 2026 on callforentry.org. We look forward to the opportunity to showcase your work!
Important 2026 art show dates
- September 2025: Online artist application opens
- March 16, 2026: Artist entry deadline
- April 3, 2026: Artist invitation for participation
- May 4 – May 8, 2026: Shipped art received
- May 12, 13, and 14, 2026: Art drop-off 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- May 26, 2026: Opening Reception at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute
- May 27 – July 3, 2026: Show dates
- July 7 – 9, 2026: Art pick-up 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- August 1, 2026: Artist payment checks mailed

COURAGE CARDS
Courage Cards has been a treasured tradition for many years, and we are so grateful to everyone who has shared their creativity with us.
After the 2025 holiday season, the Courage Cards program will come to an end, and we will no longer hold an annual art search. We encourage and invite artists with disabilities to continue to participate in the annual Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale which shares the mission of Courage Cards and is a celebration of art and abilities.
Thank you to all our Courage Cards artists for filling holidays with beauty and joy and for making a difference in so many lives!
