I grew up with and still struggle everyday with Tourette Syndrome and other co-occurring disorders. However, I wasn’t diagnosed until I was about 20 years old. And that helped explain many of the struggles. Perhaps that, along with being somewhat of an explorer, spurred my interest in photography decades ago. To say that I love photography is a great understatement! But, what exactly is it about making images? Photographs are more than aesthetics. They are moments in time. Tiny slices of life that represent a much larger story. And, that’s what I love most – telling stories. As Maya Angelou said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you,” my aim and passion is to capture and share those untold, extraordinary stories with you. My work is widely held in private and institutional settings from California to Europe and various points in between while receiving various awards.
