About the Artist
Ric Johnson
I am a photographer since 1968, but after surviving a traumatic brain injury in 2003, photography became more than my art, it became my focus to live as well as I can. I like to stop and look closely at scenes that are easily walked away from. I treat each scene not as a documentary, but as a portrait, with the resulting photograph printed as accurately and faithfully as possible. I am also the facilitator for the Courage Kenny Brain Injury Support Group and a member of the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance Speakers Bureau.
