Michael Korol
I have been a photographer since my Roch. Institute of Technology/National Technical Institute of Technology.(BFA) days. I went on to earn my MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Arts. My current work is combining photographic historical processes, Cyanotype prints which I then layer with the Gum Bichromate process. Each of my work can results in 3 to up to 9 layers of colors. I often work with nature and at times works within a conceptual nature. Being deaf in a hearing world I've always been aware of the duality of nature. This is what I try to present on show in my work. I strive to show that this duality can be larger and bigger than just an object existing as it own entity.
