About the Artist

Erin McDonald

As a photographer who uses a wheelchair, I was so lucky to roll this close to the Boundary Waters. Taking this photo was very special because my family fishes and swims from this dock. I began my art journey in the INSPIRE program for brain injury and stroke survivors, which offers a Camera Club to teach photography skills to the disabled. I rely on support from family, friends, and service providers. I am grateful to my photography assistant, Ethan. Photographers Cecilia Blomdahl (of Svalbard) and Chuck Olsen (of Northern MN) inspire me.
