Since my first encounter with finger painting, I've been captivated by the joy of creation, realizing by seventh grade that my passion lay in becoming an artist. This passion wasn't just an outlet for my creativity; it became my escape and a field where I excelled. After graduating with honors in art, I moved to Taos, New Mexico, where my work was featured in twenty shops and gained national and international recognition, even before the widespread use of computers made such achievements common. However, it was upon moving back to Topeka, Kansas, that I experienced significant personal and artistic growth, having given up drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and overeating. My faith has been a cornerstone of my journey, guiding my turnaround. Known for my watercolor chickens, I have displayed my work across the United States. My relationship with God is the catalyst for my art, driving me to strive for excellence in my creative expressions.
