My educational pursuits centered on both Psychology and Fine Arts. I have graduate degrees in both. While my professional endeavors concentrated on doing research on child abuse I have continued to hone my artistic skills as an adjunct activity. My works are in the permanent collections of major universities and corporations world wide. My media is that of copperplate engraving, a vanishing art form. Similarly, my subject matter centers on threatened and endangered species of wildlife and their equally at risk habitats. While most people are aware of conservation efforts for wildlife and their habitats few are aware of the need to sustain disappearing art forms.Wildlife Art News, an international publication with circulation to over 110 countries, has cited me as one of only seven or eight wildlife art engravers currently working worldwide. ( Wildlife Art News, Artists Edition, 2004.)
